As the 41st President of the Korean Pharmaceutical Association (KPA), I, Kwon Young-hee, am deeply honored to extend my greetings.
The KPA has long stood at the forefront of public health, fulfilling its responsibility to safeguard the well-being of the people through the proper implementation of pharmaceutical expertise.
Pharmacists in Korea have served as the most accessible healthcare professionals, ensuring the safe and appropriate use of medicines. Even in times of national crisis—such as the spread of infectious diseases or critical shortages of medicines—we have remained steadfast in our duty to protect public health.
In an era faced with rapid changes—driven by super-aging populations, advanced digital technologies, and artificial intelligence—the KPA remains committed to upholding the public value of healthcare. Through these efforts, we not only promote better health outcomes but also help ensure the sustainability of the national health insurance system.
