Korean Pharmaceutical Association represents 80,000 pharmacists in Korea, Founded in 1928, Korean Pharmaceutical Association has continuously striven to improve
public health, advance pharmacology, and expand the role of pharmacists for over 90 years.
Korean pharmacists occupy a wide range of professions, including in pharmacology, around the
distribution of pharmaceuticals, at the pharmacies, in public services, and in regulatory affairs.

Korean pharmacists are aiming to improve public health in their role as gate keepers and healthcare
providers. During the COVID-19 pandemic, pharmacists made a significant contribution to the public by
efficiently distributing face masks and providing consultation on the prevention and treatment of COVID-19.
In 2017, Korean Pharmaceutical Association successfully hosted the FIP World Congress in Seoul. We are confident that all participants had
a wonderful time and the Congress produced significant opportunities for demonstrating value of
pharmacist's services.

In October 2024, Korean Pharmaceutical Association will host the FAPA Congress in Seoul and would like to invite all pharmacists
from Asian countries for the FAPA Congress. We will prepare for excellent and useful programs related
to pharmacy services and management. We look forward to seeing you in Seoul in 2024.
